Generally speaking, to buy an ice cream is to buy into industrial, ultra-processed food. Here in dairy country however, small-scale producers are scooping up something more worthwhile

I could make my own if I visit a certain farm at a certain time of year. Soft serve ice cream is the most common ‘ice cream’ found in towns of Quebec unfortunately. The dairy quota here does not want competition

Tesco, Waitrose and Lidl are the shops I use. Brickells don’t seem to supply any of these which is a shame as I would change from Kelly’s.
