Pubs have undergone a mass die-off in recent years, but this one’s not yet done ringing

386. That’s how many pubs in England and Wales closed in 2022.

And, on 11th February, The Bell in Buckland Dinham became one of them. 

Like many other businesses, 2022 wasn’t kind on the British pub – energy bills in some instances tripled, food prices went a bit wild, and there emerged an economic climate wherein pints down the pub were a tad more of a luxury.
